I wanted a simple GTK-based LaTeX editor with spell checking, syntax highlighting, auto-completion and a PDF preview pane. None that I could find fit this bill, so I rolled my own.

If you want to use it, run the following:

svn checkout http://desigle.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ desigle

and read 467 README.txt.
